Tip: Indie Route Utrecht with KNG56 and Shaky Maracas

On November 24 -27, during the Le Guess Who? festival, there will be a special route to walk in the centre of Utrecht, called 'Indie Route'. This route doesn't just show the most beautiful spots of Utrecht, but also offers the best indie bands of the Netherlands.

During the route, which leads through the Old and New Canal leads, you walk across 'QR codes'. These codes can be scanned with a smartphone. Through this scan, you can watch sessions with bands like I Am Oak, Lost Bear, S axis in Assassins and Kim Janssen. Ofcourse, the sessions are all recorded at the place where the code is located.

By choosing a route in a public space, anyone can get to know the bands along the route. Nothing special is needed, just a phone with a camera and internet is enough to enjoy the large number of bands which we invited for this project.

The route is set up by KNG56, named "best small stage of Utrecht" by
3VOOR12/Utrecht, and Shaky Maracas. This new DIY platform is doing very well with the release of records and organizing concerts. The two organizations bring together a unique perspective on the Dutch music scene. Without pretending, special musical projects are being presented in a unique way.

For more information, go to
www.utrechtindieroute.nl. The Indie Route is free accessable for everyone, during day and night. Have a nice walk!
